About Joy
A native of Sebastopol, in Sonoma County, Joy studied voice from the renowned Sonoma State music professor E. Gardner Rust. She made her mark musically in Southern California, while getting her degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. For more than 30 years, Joy taught in public and private schools, was music and choir director at her church, and offered private music lessons. She now lives in La Mesa, CA.
